Privacy policy for Orden de Servicio y Cotización

Last updated: October 17, 2026. Translated from the Spanish original, which prevails if they differ: Versión en español

Orden de Servicio y Cotización is an Android app for making quotes, work orders and receipts from your phone. It is made by Standard Computing LLC, a US company ("we"). This policy explains what data the app holds, which of it leaves your phone, where it goes and what you can do about it. Contact: support@standardcomputingllc.com.

No account, and no server for your documents

Orden de Servicio y Cotización has no accounts and no sign-in. Your documents, your customers (name, phone, address and tax ID), your business details and logo, signatures and the photos on work orders are stored on your phone and, if Android's backup is on, also in your Google account (see below). We have no copy of our own on any server and cannot see them.

The app asks for no camera, storage, location or contacts permission. Photos you take or choose come through the camera app or Android's file picker, and the app keeps a reduced copy in its private storage.

Android backup

If Android's backup (Auto Backup) is on, Android may copy the app's database to the backup of your Google account, and to a new phone when you transfer your data from one phone to another. That way your quotes and their numbers survive a lost or replaced phone. Google makes and keeps that copy, under Google's terms and privacy policy, and we have no access to it. It stays in your Google account under Google's rules (for example, Google deletes it if you turn backup off), and you can delete it there.

The backup includes the app's database: documents, customers, business details, logo and signatures, and also the anonymous usage events (see below) not yet sent. It does not include the photos on work orders, which are separate files: on a restored phone the orders are there, but without their photos. You can turn the backup off in your phone's or Google account's backup settings.

When your documents leave your phone

A PDF leaves your phone only when you share it: the app opens Android's share sheet and the PDF goes to the app you choose (WhatsApp, email, etc.), which handles it under its own policy. If you close the sheet without choosing, nothing is sent. The PDFs the app builds are kept in its cache, which Android may clear when it needs space.

The same goes for the backup you export from "Copia de seguridad": a .zip file with all your documents, customers, business details, signatures and photos. It leaves your phone only for the app you choose in the share sheet (Drive, email, etc.); we never receive it. Anyone who has the file can see everything in it, so keep it somewhere safe. It is also kept in the app's cache.

Pro purchases

The free plan allows 5 new documents a month; the Pro plan, paid for once, has no limit. Google Play handles purchases: the payment and the billing are Google's. For each purchase Google gives us the order number, the date, the product, the price, the phone model used for the purchase, and your country, state or region and postal code, but not your card or Google account details. The app asks Google Play on your phone whether you have Pro. How many documents you have left this month is counted on your phone, from your own documents.

Anonymous usage events

The app sends anonymous usage events to our server, which runs on Cloudflare, to learn how much it is used and what to improve. These are the events, and there are no others:

Each event also carries how many seconds ago it happened, the app version and the country, which Cloudflare derives from the connection. They carry no identifier of you or your phone (no install ID, no cookie) and nothing you type: no customer names, prices, text or photos. So we cannot tell which events come from whom, or join the events of one person.

To deliver the request and to limit abuse (a maximum number of requests per minute), Cloudflare sees the IP address of your connection. We do not store it or write it into the events. Cloudflare deletes the events after about three months.

Error reports

The app sends error reports to Sentry, a service that processes error diagnostics, so that we can fix them. A report contains what failed, where in the code, the app version, and the phone model and Android version. It contains no identifier of your phone or of the installation, and nothing you type in the app, and we do not store your IP address. Our website and event server also report their own errors to Sentry, without the content of what the visitor sent: only the page path, the request method and the browser.

This website

When you visit a page on this site, we record which page it was (its route, not the full address), the site that linked to it and the country you visit from. We use no cookies and store no IP addresses.

No ads, and few third parties

Orden de Servicio y Cotización shows no ads, sells no data and has no advertising or tracking tools. The only third parties the app sends data to are Google Play (purchases) and Sentry (errors); events go to our own server, which runs on Cloudflare, like this site. Cloudflare processes data in the United States and other countries where it operates.

Your rights

Your data is on your phone and you control it: you can see and correct it in the app, and uninstalling the app deletes everything it keeps on the phone. If you had Google's backup on, that copy stays in your Google account under Google's rules, and you can delete it there. What we hold ourselves is this: the anonymous events, the error reports, the visits to this site and the purchase records Google Play gives us (order number, date, product, price, phone model, country, state or region and postal code). If you want to know what we hold about a purchase of yours, or to ask anything about your data, write to support@standardcomputingllc.com (for example, with the purchase's order number) and we will answer.

Children

Orden de Servicio y Cotización is a tool for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect children's data, and the anonymous events do not reveal who uses the app.

Changes

We will post changes on this page and update the date above. If this version and the Spanish original differ, the Spanish one prevails.
